When you create a storefront for the first time, you have a free storefront. A free storefront is a great way to start selling your products on Facebook. However, most serious sellers prefer to upgrade to a premium storefront ( costs just $10 a month!). A premium storefront is packed with features and tools to help you sell more, give you more visibility and therefore generate more sales ! Here is what a premium storefront can do for you:

A free storefront can only list a maximum of 10 products at a time. With a premium storefront, you can list upto 1000 products simultaneously !

Once you have upgraded to a premium storefront, your storefront can be made available on any other popular social network like MySpace (see list of networks we currently support) with no additional setup. The storefront can then be managed from anywhere. For example, once you choose to make your premium storefront on Facebook available on MySpace, you can add products to the storefront on either MySpace or Facebook. This might require you to login to Facebook in order to install the application.

Once you are on Netcarnation Marketplace, you can create a storefront by clicking on the Create New Storefront link on the top right corner of the application.

We currently support the creation of 3 different types of storefronts. The type of storefront you would choose depends on your exact needs. Given below is a description of each of these options. Choose the option that best fits your requirements.

• Create a brand new storefront
  Choose this option if you do not have an existing online store. When a storefront is created using this option, you can start listing your products right away and start selling your stuff. However, you do need a Paypal account to recieve payments for the goods you have sold. You can setup a Paypal account for FREE. Paypal is the most popular payment platform on the web and a paypal account can be used to receive payment from credit cards too ! Your customers can use the Paypal shopping cart that we provide to shop from your store.
  
  
• Mirror my existing ecommerce store
  Choose this option if you have an existing online store and would like your Netcarnation Marketplace storefront to act as an additional marketing channel for your store.
  
  
• Import my existing Amazon aStore
  Choose this option if you own an Amazon Affliate Store (aStore). An Amazon Affliate store can be created by joining the Amazon Affliate Program.
  
  
• Premium Users - Activate my storefront on this Network
  Choose this option if you own a Premium storefront subscription, and you have already upgraded your storefront on a different social network.
  
  

This tool helps you import products from an store to your Marketplace storefront. We currently support the software/services listed below:

• Zen Cart
• Etsy
• Ebay

In order to enable importing products from your Zen Cart, you will need to enable RSS feeds on your web store.If your Zen Cart does not support RSS feeds, get it here:RSS Feed support. If you have multiple RSS feeds, you can use any of your feeds to import your products.

In order to enable importing products from your Etsy shop, you will need to know your Etsy User Id.Visit your Etsy shop in the browser eg. goto
http://MyEtsyStoreName.etsy.com

You will notice that you get redirected to a different link. It looks something like this:
http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=12345678.

The number following user_id= is your Etsy User Id. In this case,the Etsy User Id is : 12345678

In order to enable importing products from your Ebay store, you will first need to export your Ebay listings. Consult the Ebay documentation: Exporting Your Fixed Price Listings for this. Note that Ebay might take upto 12 hours to create a file of your listings.

Once your listings are created, Ebay will post a file to URL based on your Store URL. It will look something like this:
http://esssl.ebay.com/GetListings/[YOUR STORE NAME]

You will need to find the URL for your store listing from Ebay in order to import your Ebay store products. Check out the video below to see how this works.

Promoting your eBay store products on Netcarnation Marketplace will automatically make you eligible for Store Referral Credit from eBay.

Once you have created a storefront on Facebook and listed your products, you can add your storefront to any Facebook Page that is owned by you (If you don't have a Facebook Page yet, it's a good idea to get one. Learn more here: Facebook Pages). Here are the steps that needs to be followed:

1. Add the Netcarnation Marketplace Application to your Facebook Page

   Go to the Netcarnation Marketplace Application Page on Facebook. Click on the Add to My Page link found on the left hand side of the page.
   
   
      

2. Select the Page to Add

   Facebook will now bring up a list of pages you can add your storefront to. Click on Add to Page and Close.
   
      
   

3. Go to Facebook Page

   Now, you'll need to go to your Facebook Page. You can do so by choosing the Ads and Pages bookmark on your Facebook Menu Bar (this is located at the bottom of any Facebook Page). Or just click on this link: Facebook Ads and Pages
   
   Once you are on your Facebook Page, Click on the Add a new tab button. And select the option that says Storefront.
   
      
   

4. Go to the Storefront tab

   Click on your storefront tab. Click on Add My Storefront to this Facebook Page.
   
      
   
   

5. Add your Facebook Page to Netcarnation Marketplace

   You will now be redirected to the "Facebook Pages" section Netcarnation Marketplace. Click on Add to add your storefront to your Facebook Page.
   
      
   
   

6. Success !

   Once you have successfully added your storefront to your page, you will find that your page gets listed on Netcarnation Marketplace.
   
      
   
   

7. Display your products to all visitors

   Finally you need to ensure that all visitors to your Facebook Page see your product listings. In order to do that, you will need to visit your page and click on the Edit Page link.

   And select Storefront as the Default Landing Tab for Everyone Else
   
      
   
   Your Facebook Page is now successfully configured !
