An Important Message To All Merchants Using Netcarnation Marketplace
Dear Merchant, You might have already heard about the launch of the Netcarnation Social Commerce Platform. If you haven't read about it, please check it out. With the new platform we are launching two new Facebook Services: Facebook Basic and Facebook Pro, to cater to different needs of Internet Merchants. The new platform is better than the current Netcarnation Marketplace application. Please read this page to know why : Why Migrate ? What will happen to the Netcarnation Marketplace application ? We know this is the first question you are going to have. The Facebook Basic service will have most of the features that the current Netcarnation Marketplace offers. Certain features, like the automatic posting to your Fans Pages' wall, actually loads our servers a lot. Hence we will be offering them as a part of the Facebook Pro service. The old Netcarnation Marketplace will continue to work in a read-only mode for 14 days from now (till Now 8th 2010). This means your new listings will appear on your storefront, you can still use the tweet buttons etc. However, you cannot modify anything in your storefront. If you want the storefront deleted, just remove the Netcarnation Marketplace application. Going forward, it is also not possible to create new storefronts on Netcarnation Marketplace. After Nov 8th, Netcarnation Marketplace will stop working. We believe 14 days is enough time for your to migrate to our new services. Why don't you give away everything for free ? Please understand that we can't. Netcarnation is a business. If we give away everything for free, we'll have to shut down soon. And then, nobody will get anything for free. We have made our charges as low as possible so that even a small seller can afford to upgrade. $5 per month is not a big sum, if you are serious about building your online business.
